The children were very excited coming into school today in their red clothes. The teachers were also looking forward to having some fun in class whilst also sharing the main message of Red Nose Day too. Even our cooks were looking forward to lunchtime and getting a reaction to their red shortcake! (more fruit was chosen for dessert today than usual, haha).
Red Nose theme was also super heroes this year. Some of the classes cut out hero masks and danced to their favourite tunes wearing them. All classes joined in a competition to design their own red noses. Class 1 had a proper giggle with joke time. But we think the person who had the most fun was Mr Frazer! Who knew he was a magician who could make a handkerchief disappear?
Let’s not forget, today we were also supporting World Down
Syndrome Day which is on 21st March by wearing odd socks. The kitchen ladies showed their support by decorating the hatch with odd socks – luckily not smelly socks.
Thanks for taking part in our events. Hopefully, the children will be able to tell you about their day.
