Class Dojo
We are still experiencing problems with Class Dojo and some parents not being able to see posts. Please bear with us until we can get this resolved.
Letters or information that need to be shared before we resolve the problem will be communicated with a paper copy, on Facebook or on our school website.

World Book Day 2023
Wow! What a fantastic World Book day we had last week.
Class teachers and even Mrs Frazer all visited different classes to share one of their favourite stories. Year 2 wrote book recommendations for their favourite books, classes made book marks and there was a lot of story telling.
We were blown away by the amount of parents we had attend our reading drop-in. We apologise if there was a little wait. We will be organising more sessions in the near future for 1 year group at a time, so watch this space.
The children and staff all looked amazing in their costumes, pyjamas and non-uniform clothes. Great effort all round!
Reading is a very important skill and we would love for our children to read and hear stories as often as possible at home. Little and often is better than nothing and it doesn’t even have to be with a grown-up it could be with a sibling or a different family member.

Lights, Camel, Action! – Christmas Performance
We have had funky camels, disco stars and even tango fandango innkeepers.
The children have all worked so hard over the past few weeks, rehearsing lines, practicing dances and singing songs.
They have put on three fabulous performances of Lights, Camel, Action and we could not be prouder!
Year 2 were the main stars of the show and for most of our children this was their first time on stage in front of an audience, I think those who came and watched will agree with all of us that they were spectacular actors.
Perhaps we will see Lights, Camel, Action 2 next year!
Cinderella Performance
The children all had a ball watching a spectacular performance of Cinderella this afternoon.
There was lots of singing and dancing and the Prince eventually found Cinderella in the end, oh yes he did!
Mr Robson and Mrs Gallon even took part in a dance off, showing us some of their moves. Lips are sealed on who was the best dancer.
Christmas Fun Run
World Cup 2022
To celebrate the start of the World Cup, children could come to school in sports clothing and had the chance to watch the first of Englands football matches.
There were a lot of excited children in our hall this afternoon, especially when England scored!
Children in Need
Our newly elected School Council were out in force on Friday morning. Shaking their buckets for Children in Need!

Following the sad news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II we would like to inform you that we will be closed for the state funeral on Monday 19th September.
School will reopen Tuesday 20th September.
