Children in Need 2018

Our councillors play a big part of these fundraising days.  Before the event councillors get together to discuss the type of activities which would be fun and what theme the school might adopt for the occasion though it seems superheroes never go out of fashion.  The councillors also take charge of the class competition.  On this occasion, pupils had to design an outfit for either Blush or Pudsey.  Councillors are not allowed to judge their own class – as guess who would be the winners! Maybe not. However, to be absolutely fair, councillors do not judge their own class efforts.   After looking at the whole class, a short-list of 2 or 3 is drawn up and the councillors then have to decide the overall winner.  Some interesting discussions and choices arise at this point…adults often miss what the councillors see in a piece of work.

Here are a few photos of our councillors at work for Children in Need.
