Our first sign that Autumn is indeed on its way! We would like to thank you for arriving as near to drop off and collection times as possible to ensure our children continue to arrive safely. As using the outdoor space, not only for play, but for outside learning is a main priority please always send the children in wearing appropriate clothing for whatever the weather may throw our way.
We would like to express our thanks to parents and carers who have supported us and shown their thanks during these difficult times. Whilst it remains unknown what is ahead, ensuring our children are happy, learning, socialising and ultimately staying safe will as always remain our ultimate priority.
Our apologies regarding the misunderstanding regarding the setting up of Class Dojo. We were a little too keen too soon. All teachers are now available on the app and are awaiting your invites. This is a new way we can share updates and information. Please be patient if you message a member of staff as replies will be limited to non-teaching times.
Reading books will be sent home next week. We have spent a considerable amount of money on updating our reading scheme over the last year. To ensure books are kept in a good condition we will be sending home in files to keep them separate from water bottles, etc. If you have any school books still at home, we would appreciate their return.
We have the exciting opportunity to appoint two parent governors to our Full Governing Body. If you feel you would like to explore this role or would like a little more information, please email the school office. In the event there are more applicants than spaces this would need to go to vote.
We also have a vacancy for a co-opted governor. If you know of anyone with skills to complement our governing body then please ask them to contact us. We are particularly keen to appoint someone with financial knowledge.
Please find available more information from Public Health England regarding Track and Trace and gathering at school gates.
As always take care.
Mrs. L. Frazer
